Fluxus, a flow-tracking platform for a recycler
M2 capstone for AMETIS, a recycling company: I led a team of 5 for 7 months to design Fluxus, a platform that tracks recycling flows.

Context
AMETIS recycles printer cartridges. Its flow data (weighings, non-conformities, regulatory follow-up) sits in an ERP, regulatory tools and spreadsheets that do not talk to each other. The TIPI project of my M2 gave us that subject for real: seven months, a mission letter, fixed milestones and a client who answers questions. Our team worked like a start-up, MainXa.

What I did
I was Team Leader of a team of five. I split the work between lots, kept the schedule and stayed in touch with the client, including after the hackathon of 5 December 2025, which moved the need. We had to reformulate it, set a realistic scope, then write a 34-page functional specification.
Fluxus has three entry points: an operations dashboard, a QSE interface for compliance and a mobile app for operators, to log weighings, non-conformities and incidents. The platform builds on the existing systems instead of replacing them. AI flags anomalies, and an automated regulatory watch built with n8n feeds the follow-up. IoT sensors send data in real time. I also built the business model (SaaS and HaaS, Lean Canvas, business plan).

What came out of it
A service designed from first research to business plan, with Figma mockups, an identity for the start-up (MainXa) and for the service (Fluxus), and a communication plan. We presented it in a public defense at UNIVCAMP, in front of an audience of academics and companies.
