BTS en détresse: communications for a student movement
In 2021, during the BTS exam crisis, I ran communications for the "BTS en détresse" movement: social networks, press, live talks.

Context
In 2021, the COVID-19 crisis disrupted the BTS exams (a two-year vocational degree in France). With a friend studying for a BTS in real estate, we ran the "BTS en détresse" movement's accounts to give students a voice. I took charge of communications.

What I did
I helped write the press releases and posts, answered students' questions about how the exams would run and what actions were under way, and kept the community alive so followers stayed. I also spoke live on Twitch and Instagram, and helped with the site's search visibility using Google Analytics and Google Ads.

What came out of it
More than 14,000 people gathered around the movement: over 6,000 Twitter followers in two months, over 7,000 people on Telegram, 2,000 live on Twitch, and millions of impressions on the most shared posts. The movement was covered by France Télévisions, Groupe Canal+, Le Parisien, TF1 and BFM TV, and taken all the way to the Conseil d'État. I learned to run a very exposed account in the middle of a crisis, to answer fast and to keep a steady tone.
